Yeah, my slush fund is taking a beating addle: You know what they say, we can't take it with us The hard part was I had most of these parts before my car came in on 10/7. Wanted to put a 1000 miles on her before I put the supercharger on.

Car is filthy, it was raining and the tires were not scrubbed. They have that film on them as you can see in the picture.

[MENTION=11520]Blitz[/MENTION] helped me again yesterday by installing my barton short throw shifter.

I can't even tell you how much of an improvement this fine piece of craftsmanship is over the stock shifter. Where before I would always feel notches all over the shift gate anywhere between 1-6 there is now just smoothness. Each gear engages with a nice firm click. The shifter is A LOT firmer than the stock and there is absolutely no play while the car is in neutral. After install yesterday I did actually miss 5th gear a couple times while driving very hard but i believe that is because it is still so new and the springs that hold it side to side are still so new and therefore very stiff still. I can't say how hard/ easy the install is because Tony did the whole thing for me because he is the man!!

Thank you. Well, for right now it is my daily, but that is a bit of a problem with any weather as the Sport Cup 2 tires are basically street slicks. We have rain today and tomorrow in the immediate forecast, so I'm using the wife's Jeep if I need to go anywhere..

My S550 was my daily driver, but I commute 150 miles round trip daily and with the PerfPack I was getting a best of 18.3 MPG. This combined with many small problems with the car and quality of the body fitment made me start to dislike the car, even more every time I washed it. The dealerships were no help and said it was within spec and couldn't be improved. :(

In September I ordered the Z06 and pre-traded/sold my 2014 Z51 C7 to the dealership. The plan was to then get something that was still fun to replace the S550 as a commuter that would be smaller, turn well, get good mileage and "not boring". So I've been looking.

I've also been watching, and the used values have been dropping quite a bit lately. The used market seems to be softening and the auction data shows it, so I wanted to get rid of the Mustang before it takes anymore hit on the book price.

Maybe in a couple years I will get another one, but I will make sure to closely check all the body gaps and not assume they can be adjusted. :headbonk:
