I put on the 18" rims and all-season tires that I purchased on Craigslist to replace my 20" Summer only setup. I can now drive the car in our Minnesota winter. Summer tires/wheels will go back on in April.

I also ordered the BMR cradle lockout kit, vertical links and Ford Performance hood struts. I am hoping to reduce wheel hop for when I go to the track and I HATE hood prop rods!

SLP axle back installed. Painted mufflers myself with just a high temp enamel, but took the tips in for a ceramic coating.
How does it sound?

Sounds great, I love it. Already had an SR x-pipe in place from AM. Sound is nice and deep, not too loud until you get on it and then it really sings. Haven't really noticed any drone so far, but also haven't driven it that much.

I cannot right now. I barely have enough time left here to get the things I need to get done for myself before I retire and relocate to GA.

Here is something you might be interested in.

Yeah I've seen those. And I get the time thing - I'm still trying to make time to install my GT brake upgrade, fog lights/ wiring etc.

I just HATE working with fiberglass. Hate it. Bad memories doing insulation 20+ years ago during hot Carolina Summers. I've been halfheartedly looking for a factory sub enclosure at a decent price to use just as a box.

Thanks for the link though.

Are axel-backs worth it for making the exhaust a little louder? My shifting is shit because there's no feedback.

Well I have a long list.

Fore fuel system, Long tube headers, door panels, Sync 3 upgrade, and then tune it all.

Corvette, drop a new motor in and tune it.

Navigator, brake pads, CV boot, Lower ball joints, replace air line.

Plus do three certifications, retire from the Army, and 4 college Master's degree classes.

Schedule is kind of full between now and May 1st.

Yes, the stock mufflers quiet things down a lot. I'm not so sure they'd help with bad shifting though

A couple things happened the past few days.

1. I partnered up with local business Red Line Oil and they're supplying me with Synthetic Fluids. :headbang: Big shot out to Red Line oil for that!

2. Got some cool Femco quickdrain bits and starting to swap out all the fluids.

3. Got some joint and latch covers (Latch covers are still on the way). As others have stated, this should've came with the car.
