I love that they’re both close to the same color. To me it’s not even a question. Coyote all the way.

Yeah! I thought the close in color was fun. Totally! I'm always a Mustang guy.

Not today, but this weekend I picked up Ford "officially licensed" Mustang deodorant body spray on clearance at Macy's. I didn't even smell it. I just assume it smells like Michelin tire smoke and E85 exhaust!

Was the B9 a real one, or imposter?
Sorry for the late reply.

Honestly, I don't see enough of them (remember i'm in the UK) or have enough knowledge on that model to know

Is there any quick way to check looking around the car externally ?

The meet is monthly so if the weather if good, there is a good chance I can check it out again on the 4th - or maybe talk to the owner if they are around when I'm looking :like:

The paint and prep was definitely a step above what I typically see on cars of that era at UK shows :sunglasses:

Fastest way to ID - a 1969/70 genuine B9 VIN will have a "Z" in the 5th position of the VIN.

2nd fastest way - a true B9 will have specific strut towers that were designed only to fit the massive BOSS 429 into the engine bay. No other 69/70 Mustang has those very specific strut towers and matching inner fender sheet metal.

Washed her and dressed her tires and drove her 15 miles home between multiple thunder storms.
Didn't get a drop on her.
Drove her to work this morning and parked in the LAST spot, safe from all the kings and queens of door dings....... 😎
That Griot's ceramic 3-in-1 spray wax is some awesome stuff
Been six months since I put two coats on her and still beading water like a mofo.
And she's been through the touchless car wash with all the harsh soaps almost weekly.
Since I live where construction is constant, and have a road base driveway, and only a carport for protection, she's covered in fine dust every morning.
Been using my Griot's duster ever morning before taking off.
Keeps her really clean looking all week.
GOTDAMN I love this car!
I drive a shuttle bus for a summer job so I drive past her all day long. I like looking at her almost as much as I like driving her.
And the exhaust with the x pipe resonator delete set to track mode is like angels singing........

I finally put on my LTH headers and installed my MGW shifter. However, I have insane heat coming from the center console and down by my leg. Not sure what I did wrong, any input would be solid. I see a few threads that maybe I didn't seat the boot correctly so I will try there and add some heat resistant tape in spots. Here are a few not so good videos of the exhaust. MBRP Race with LTH headers with high flow cats. (first time adding videos here let me know if they are viewable)
