Nice stripes. I saw that carport, and thought, that looks like orange county Costa Mesa were I used to live. Then saw you're in SoCal. I miss that place so f'n much. Finally done with installing the stripes on my 5.0.
Don't mind the roof stripes, forgot to fully peel off the clear layer of plastic in this pic. And yes she does need a wash after the install which I'll get to in the next couple days. Hood and front end was done in 1 day and the rest was done the following day
my neighbor actually did it for me they have a wrap shop where they also install these. Looks like they pulled the headliner out and inserted each light by hand. then reinstall headliner. I think it took them around 3-4 hours total for the installYou do the headliner lights yourself or had it installed. Wow that seems labor intensive. But i do like it. Looks really good.
The coolest part about the headliner is because it is black... you cant see the lights when they are turned off. looks like a regular OEM headliner. They are all pre-wired to a control box that is also mounted inside the headliner. I think it took them around 4 hours total install timere starlight roof liner
- so random holes?
- how long did it take once the liner was out?
- leds all pre-wired to each other?
inquiring minds need to know.
since I saw that in a rolls I always thought it was a great touch ... though more a view from the backseat.
Thanks !! Hahaha yeah I'm in the IE . Happens to me all the time on here, I see people post pics and I'm like hey I've seen you! Come to find out their not even in the same stateNice stripes. Probably not really noticable since the rotational mass inertial effect is also dependant on the diameter of the rotating part, and driveshafts aren't very large in diameter to start with.Curious to see if a lighter driveshaft makes the engine a bit more responsive - kind of like a lighter flywheel would. Less rotational mass to turn.
