Italian tuneup today. 3 miles of 7000 rpm @ 155 mph in 5th gear was heavenly. Logs were happy, so I was happy. BTW, zero IAT issues at that speed

Nice engine bay. I thought you guys got a 5w-20 oil fill cap. Ours in Oz came with a 5w-20 cap but our oil spec is 5w-30.

I found another model that used the same threads but 5W30 recommended. Don't recall but think it was a turbo Flex. Manufacturers willing to sacrifice a few NAs rarely risk specing 5W20 for their turbos. I posted the part number years ago.

I avoided those decisions by having the holes filled with weld before finishing. Don't put advertising back on. Make something custom.

What did you do with your old plaque ? I would like an original one if possible (my brace was second hand and the finish on the plaque was scuffed up a little).

Steeda tri-ax race short shifter and 35lb clutch pedal spring installed. Can’t believe the difference in shifts with the shifter. Definitely a pain in the rear install though.

@NoVaGT corralled me into offering my 'shop' as a private washing facility at 0700 in the morning. First time I (hand) washed my GT since buying it in Feb '19. I have just taken it to the no-touch wash at the Shell. Looks pretty good now. When he was done with his Kona (he also helped wash my Dad's absolutely filthy mini-van) he went down to the Fairfax C&C to gather accolades.

First time I've ever used a soap gun, automotive soap, and 2-bucket system.

Maybe I can convince the other locals to join us and make it a righteous Mustang Wash and Wax.
