Very nice. You tackle it yourself or have it done? Wanna do mine but trying to figure out how to with no lift and a 50 year old bad back is keeping me from just going for it.

Did it with the help of a friend who has a lift. Took us 30 minutes. Measure two cuts and clamp on. I would not recommend doing it on jack stands even though people said they have. You need some room with a cutter to make it clean and neat.

I like the vents. Do the look like water intrusion would be an issue at all?
Not that I can tell. They sit pretty flush with the hood. When I took off the factory heat vents I had small rocks and dirt under them and the car has under 500 miles on it. So I think no matter what, stuff will get in them.

I see a Chevy truck and a nice M1 but gotta ask, why the mopar clock? What previously occupied that garage bay? Scat Pack somethingorother?
I had 3 challenger scat packs before. A standard one, then a shaker and then a Widebody T/A. Loved the Widebody but the motor blew up at 1k miles. The customer service is what drove me over the edge (it was terrible) and I ended up selling it after getting it fixed. Then I got my Mach 1.

That’s what I figured. Simple job with the right tools and equipment. A ball buster otherwise

I used these pipe cutters as there was no way a saw would fit. Gives a clean cut but takes forever. And cutting is one thing, but trying to get everything in place and aligned while crawling underneath the car is another.

I have installed GT 500/HP style spoiler today. It was aftermarket spoiler and required painting. Color is as original M1 spoiler (5FM6 / J7), however finishing is matt and not satin - I am not sure now if I like it matt, to be honest…

Swapping a spoiler was pretty easy, the hardest thing was to deinstall the original one. I used heat gun as the glue was holding pretty well. To remove glue that left on the paint I used eraser wheel - it worked super effectively.

The gloss black looks better in IMO. All the matte really washes out the looks of the car.

Installed some Steeda goodies last night, still have a few to go, but put on the gt350 IRS bushing supports, subframe alignment sleeves(well 3 of them), IRS braces, and rear sway bar(non-HP car so I opted to do the bar upgrade).

Had a problem installing the RF subframe sleeve, 3 went in no problem, but it seems the nut side of that bolt in the frame is actually welded/tapped on an angle, so no way not how could I put the sleeve in and get the bolt in more than about 10 turns by hand before it started to bind. Without the sleeve, I could turn it in the whole way. I'm not brave enough to just run it in with the impact, even tried to shift the subframe, since springs are going in so it's going to need to be aligned, the bolt is on too much of an angle, also one of the 13MM brace bracket bolts was cross treaded by ford on the same side...I love this car but build quality is something to be desired...

Springs and front bar going in tonight. I wasn't going to do the springs right away, but since I moved the subframe around, I might as well stick the springs in.
Hoe do you like the irs brace? Did they make a difference in wheel hop?

Clear tails are not a slam dunk good look on every color, but I love them with the EG. Much better than red.

Agree. The clear look great on your green. Not like Christmas season. Thought about them on my black but red is the right color for black cars inmho, especially with the red M1 stripes.

I think the clear would look good on black, but I agree the red tails look good on black too, especially if you have the red calipers.
