Completed work on TSB 22-2140 for hesitation/surge in 5th and 6th gear. It looked unlikely to be covered by cpo warranty and I wanted to make sure the tone ring was replaced at the same time. Good thing I did, the OE ring had an odd crack or gouge on the ID. Happy to report that the issue appears to be resolved.

Changed the oil and filter, as well as undid some stupidity of the previous owner while I was at it. Sheā€™s coming along quite nicely.

Thanks! I was originally looking for black but eventually decided it would look to much like my ā€˜15 GT and wanted something different. As an added bonus, Grabber Lime was a 2020-only option on the 350 and production numbers Iā€™ve seen online indicate it could be a 1 of 100 GT350 (non-R).

Not sure how to act this morning. Did two little ā€œmodificationsā€ on the Shelby and didnā€™t break anything, have incorrect parts, get rained on, cut/injure myself and be forced to create small cloud of obscenities that then hovers over the neighborhood for at least several hours, find that I liked it better the old way after permanently disfiguring some well thought out design feature of a vehicle, realize I need some special tool that costs three times as much as the intended modification, or create two other unintended repairs from my ā€œsimple modificationsā€ā€¦Iā€™m not sure quite how to act. Looked everything over, took a few pics, closed the hood and drank coffee. Weird. I do kinda like this feeling. I will have to try to recreate it at some point in the future.
Ha, almost forgot to point out what I did. Added Ford Performance hood prop rods and a passenger side J&L oil separator to the engine bay. Admired my previous handiwork on the painted coil covers from two weeks ago while I was under there.

ā€¦. Lol. Think you were sitting across from us at breakfast. Yours convinced me to go ahead and put the roll bar in mine. Itā€™s been sittā€™n in my shop for a long time. Your car looks great!

Missed you at the cars and coffee @Inthehighdesert . Your Heritage R was awesome!

Ha! Thanks! We were having breakfast so could have very well been us. I really like the Watson roll bar in these cars. Something they should have done from the factory. There were some really nice cars again this week. Your Heritage R and the Raptor R were firsts for me.

Weā€™re out of town next weekend but the next Iā€™ll be back and go again. There were some really cool cars. Quite the mix of older and newer.

I honestly donā€™t have a favorite between the two, there just so different. One is like classic vinyl and the other is like a cd. Not sure if that makes sense to some. I will say nothing in my opinion has a better start up sound then an R.

I will hazard a guess.
GT350 for driver engagement for both street and track.
GT500 for unbelievable track thrills and ultimate performance.

Letā€™s see how far off I am?
