You will like them. Trying to get my buddy to go with them. I have the brushed aluminum on mine. What a difference in looks.

Your car was inspiration for me when I had my previous Oxford White GT350. Was going to get the brushed aluminum for it but ended up selling the car before I bought them. Picked up this smoked tint set used in good condition from a user on here and Iā€™ve been chomping at the bit to get the car back and get the wheels on. Canā€™t wait to see what it looks like.

No pictures yet, but swapped out the Ford Racing spring and swaybar kit for a full Steeda Suspension.

Dual Rate Magneride Springs
Compeition Swaybar Setup
Adjustable Endlinks front and rear
Front strut mount opened for further camber adjustment with Steeda camber plates (plates were already on the car)
Rear camber adjustment mount

Unfortunately we're boarding a cruise ship next weekend when our next event would take place but trying to get an alignment next week to get the car ready for when I get back.

@mavisky I for one am very interested to hear about the spring change. I was on the fence between those very two springs. Went with Ford. Probably no one has a back to back, apples to apples comparison like this and Iā€™m quite interested.

I will update, but if you're looking for a street car setup thr Ford springs and swaybars were amazing on my car. I am certain I have sacrificed some amount of daily comfort with this spring/swaybar change and I'm OK with that. I will report back once I have more information on just how much.

Did a transmission fluid change today, surprisingly it was very easy to do. The old fluid was very dark so Iā€™m glad I changed it out.

Did you use the factory service manual to figure out how to do it? Iā€™m curious as Iā€™m thinking I would like to change my transmission fluid as well.

No just saw a YouTube video but honestly once you get under the car. If you are mechanically inclined you will figure it out. Remove the fill hole plug first just in case is seized, then remove the drain plug. Let the fluid drain for about 10mins. Install the drain plug and use a fluid pump to add the fluid. My transmission used about 3 1/4 quarts. Install the fill hole plug tight enough that fluid wont leak. Turn the car on, put it in 1st gear and let the clutch go( rear wheels should be spinning), leave it running for at least 2 mins(letting the fluid circulate through the transmission cooler. After 2 mins remove the fill hole plug and add fluid if needed, then install the plug again and this time snug the plug. I believe the torque spec is 21 ft lb but I honestly didnā€™t used a torque wrench.

Are you referring to the tape that you used? I'm using some 3m green tape and it barely stays on.

I was wondering about this though, because it's going to take a good few days. But I took PTO this week, so now I'll start polishing tonight.

What kind of tape did you use? 3m claims no tape residue once removed.

That green 3M tape should be fine regarding residue, but as you mentioned, it can have problems staying in place.

Next time you buy tape, have a look at the red Carpro tape or even 3M Precision -

I went from green 3M to the red Carpro and it seems more application specific.

Looks good! I kept my original wheels with SC2s, put them on last year for a PA tail cruise.

Installed the Shelby CS21 wheels today. I absolutely love them and love the look. Debating on whether or not I should keep my OEM wheels or sell them but I absolutely love the slightly different look of the Shelby wheels.

Always keep your stock wheels on a car like this.
