Got Into the Software

Finally the stupid daytime running lights are turned off, double beep when I walk away to close my garage door has been silenced, the bing bong when I open the drivers door without stopping the engine is gone, oh and the seatbelt warnings are now silent.

ps. the line locker is all there, you just need the right gear and know how to enable it. (don't tell my nanny)

Split my headlights, installed the black out inners that I prepped from a couple of US housings. Just need to hook up the DRL boards, test and install. Went for the switchbacks instead of the colour shifters.

Make sure the tribars dim in parking light mode and not the other way round. I just discovered this yesterday and spent half the day removing wheels and reversing wires.:headbonk:

car not due for a while... but dropped the following at my dealer to install prior to pickup...

Black lug nuts
US style rear deckild
US style lower grille
Redline non-domestic hood struts
Lakin brackets (and discussed exactly how they worked)

fingers crossed they dont fuck it up. its a small dealer in rural Vic...so i have faith.

Photo of them fitted! It's very similar to what I was planning - I was planning to leave all 3 circles around the headlight in chrome and the rest black like you did

took mine in for it free checkup, and whilst there (Power Ford castle Hill) they had 6 Mustangs on the show room floor awaiting delivery. They claim that the waiting time depending on colour and config is between 3 and 7 months.

For those awaiting delivery is this right?

Cheers Peter, I will be sure to check that. Also disconnecting the bottom DRLs to keep ADR compliant and it looks better with only the tribars anyway. :eyebulge:

Big day!

Picked the car up, installed US deck lid, catch can, Magnaflow Street cat back and Diode Dynamics reversing light.

Did the exhaust on jack stands by myself - wow that stock one is heavy!

Almost a year wait...was on the Parsifal..got dealer to add Black 5.0 fender badges and black Lug Nuts before delivery.. Love the forum and its helped while i waited..love to know if there is any drive days in around the Brisbane Area.
