I believe that it was on the list of dealer option colors that was leaked way back when. That's why it is one of the choices on the poll.

A lot more people are getting Avalanche than I had expected. So many people were bashing that color but it is the most popular for the car.

I'm surprised that Avalanche is so far out front. Although, a dealer once told me that they were ordering that color since it wasn't to be offered on many other cars.
