Roads are not that much better here in SD

Anything has to be better than HI. We are at the bottom in terms of road maintenance and how much we spend on road maintenance.

Luckily for me, my wife gets all the flats. On the downside, she drives until the tires are ruined every time! Killed one on the GTO (side completely gone!) and killed another in my '12 Mustang. Would have been a lot cheaper if it happened to me I guess LOL. On that note, she says there is no way in hell she will ever drive the '15...

I def agree if patched correctly you are perfectly fine.. Now I wouldn't use this tire as a track tire or anything that is pushed to extreme limits.

Yeah no these tires will not be pushed to extreme limits but I guess in the back of my mind I'll always be worrying haha.

I learned my lesson on my S197 with 19s. For some reason 19s are never in stock at major car repair retailers/tire shops and are always super expensive to the point they're almost the same price as a 20.

Went 20s this time for a more common size.

You wanna sell that 93? Is it a notch?

It's a hatch and sorry man, I gave it to my dad.

Yeah I want a 92-93 notch for a SOLO car. Gut it and turn it into a g-machine with a crate coyote in it.

Why those years specifically?

Yeah it was a slice into the tread grip (not in the grooves) and the tow guy said it could be patched. I'll just monitor it closely for now.

But really, that air pump is a useless paperweight.

I did a quick test with the pump and it seemed to work fine. I suspect no 12v pump is going to do much for you if you were leaking air as fast as you say.

This happened to me yesterday drive side rear tire, there was a nail in my tire but no air was leaking i took it to a dealer they said they couldnt patch it as it was near the sidewall of the tire and they wanted 300$+ for a tire! Ended up going to a local tire shop, they pulled the nail out and said it was barely in the tread and the tire is fine! Basically dealerships are greedy scum

I heard that Michigan spends the least amount of money per capita on roads than any other state. They're absolutely horrible here as well.

At least you have awesome Hawaii weather to go with your bad roads :)

Not trying to say that wasn't an awful morning for you, tho! I'm sorry you had to go through all that, sounds like an awful way to start Monday!
