Clean microfiber cloths, a plastic grocery bag for dirty cloths, some detail spray, a 150 pc tool set in a nice case on Velcro, the hood prop rod that I removed when I installed hood struts, the original red gas cap door, and the factory spare/jack collection in the well.

Oh, and for right now, a set of lawn mower blades that I keep forgetting to have sharpened.

When I move to Florida, I'll also have extra mags.

Right now, it's just cleaning crap. Towels.

Can I put a gun rack in the back window when I move there?

Or on the ceiling? I wanna do some shit like this;

I might need to buy a truck.
In south Florida, no, not a chance, but a little further up north, around central Florida, especially on the west coast even though not technically legal it's not uncommon to have it visible in a truck. Pretty much anywhere you can pump your gas BEFORE paying is good-to-go with visible rifles.

In my trunk, I’ve got the factory air pump, jumper cables, lug nut wrench. Car is still really new and I’m just not worried about much breaking.

Past that the constant riders are drinks of some kind, water or tea usually, gym bag, pool stick. That pool stick has seen very little use this year but I keep it there for bar nights. My subwoofer is back there but It’s screwed down so not sure if that counts?

I live in the Portland Oregon area so mostly we deal with rain. Maybe snow for a couple days in the winter.

Jumper cables
Spare supercharger belt just in case
Small toolset with proper tools to remove stuff to changed a supercharger belt
A few shots of boostane
Shop towels
Little headlamp in case something happens at night
Gym bag with a weight belt and lifting shoes

For longer trips one of my spare wheels and a small jack

I always have a thermos with water in it with me so generally I don't keep water in my trunk.

Don't even think about a gun rack in the back window! Heck, we can't even get back there to clean the rear window; how do you think you can get back there to remove and bring out a rifle/shotgun? Keep dreaming!

A blanket to put engine blocks and heads on so I don't get my carpet all nasty. Man I'm shocked at how many of your have jumper cables in your trunks. I just replace my battery every 5 years when it's time to, and I'm definitely not going to be jumping someone else's ride with my mustang.
Spare tire is a good thing for cross country road trips.
