Dude was a demon on wheels. Back in the day when other 5 year olds were watching Mr Rogers (gag me with a knife) I was crushing on the Mach 5 and Trixie.

Not sure why but I very much remember the driver more than this car in the Cannonball Run movie. Think I was 12 or something when I watched it the first time. I kept wanting to see this car get pulled over...
