Weird spots on piston and plug color. help!?

while myself and another member are doing the opg/cs job we looked into the spark plug hole for fun and noticed a odd color and pattern on the top of the pistons. take a lookat pics and see what you think. plugs also have a rust color to them. 16 gt with 7k miles. lund tuned. full boltons. car doesnt get driven that much and is not beat on much. Could it be carbon build up? any ideas?

no e85. used octanium about 2 months ago for a track day but it got rained out.

Octane boosters will do that. Race gas turns them white typically. It's ash deposits if I'm not mistaken.

Octane booster related.

Also ash deposits like that can and will eventually clog cats too. It's important to avoid octane boosters with MMT if you have cats.
