I’m thinking another vehicle, gone for (4) hours, Jodie...........
A lot of stuff can happen in 4 hours. Thieves can break into a house and clean it out in 10 minutes. Maybe it's a unhappy neighbor putting black stuff on his driveway to make him go nuts trying to figure out what it is. I had a neighbor cut all my ignition wires on my 67 because they didn't like the noise my car made. Who knows.

About a month ago. Don’t see why it would leak now
What i know and discover is to change oil they just move the plastic cover and the cap is not well placed. So there is some oil dripping on the plastic cover. By the time and depending on outside temp, engine heat etc it will become more liquid and follow a way in the plastic and drip almost at the middle near the front of the engine. It could be also a loose cap

No, I don’t think that’s the case. I noticed it was wet as I was pulling away that morning. Plus there are MUCH louder cars in my community.

I did notice that the yellow oil plug looked dirty but I didn’t think it was wet from what I saw. I’ll have to get back under and check to see if that was the cause. This seams the most reasonable.

Well there's only one thing left. It has to be.

So I took my s550 to the track Friday night for the first time. Wasn’t happy with my performance, but I think overall I was just frustrated waiting 4 hours before I got my first pass.

My drive home was normal. Everything seemed fine with no issues.

Saturday morning as I’m leaving for work I notice a few black spots on my drive way. Due to me running slightly behind, I didn’t get out the car to do a check and see what the fluid may be. ( I should’ve checked by running my finger through it)

I about my day to work and leaving work I didn’t notice any fluid on went ground (a sigh of relief).

Since then I’ve gotten on the ground to see if I could notice any leaking from underneath, I didn’t see anything and I haven’t had time to put the car in the air.

I haven’t noticed anything since then but im just curious as to what it could’ve been.

Thanks in advance,

-Lawrence

Given the details i suspect with the recent oil change there was some residual oil up on the splash guards that after track day moved around from the g-forces that dripped once you got home. I bet if you take a towel and rub around on top of the guards you will find your answer.

Cheers

YES! I actually just did a resonator delete.
I did a resonator delete as well, same day after a startup I got black crap in my garage right where the tailpipes end like it was blasted out of the exhaust, couldn't get it up. Hasn't done it since though. No leaks or anything either.
