Hello all,

I am wondering what is the best product i can buy at the store to remove water spots. I had a left over bottle of quick detailer from a meguiar's clay bar kit, it pick up most of them, but there are still some left. I have had the car for almost two weeks it is black, just thinking about paying for a full detail.

Thanks in advance.

1:20 ratio of white vinegar and distilled water. Works great on the tougher water spots. Water "etchings" are a different story, they require polishing down the clear coat to level them down.

Like others have mentioned, drying a car "immediately" after a car wash or it has rained. I always try to wash my car near sun set or shortly after sun rise to avoid getting water spots.

Also a good quality sealant or wax will aid in preventing water spots. I prefer Menzerna PL(Power Lock).
