So yesterday my water pumped failed. The bearing exploded where the pulley is bolted which cased the belt to slip off and drain all the coolant. it was replaced after a quick trip to the dealership and drove it home 1hr with no issues.
My issue is....the sphere's for the bearing were falling off the water pump as I took out the broken one. I plan on doing a flush and see if any loose parts get trapped on the radiator. Anyone suggest anything else I can do to make sure I get any metal out of the system?

Any ball bearings or pieces of the cage that could have gotten in the system will fall and find a permanent home in a crevice or corner somewhere. I wouldn't concern myself with it.
