Has anyone attempted washing the gray factory car cover...? What was the process...? Did you wash it outside with a power washer or did you just put in the washing machine at home

Mine went to the cleaners and shrank a small amount
Gets kinda nasty where it touch’s those shinny tires.

They are safe to wash in your washer as long as it has no agitator. I did mine after researching a lot. I found this.

I did mine, let it air dry. Came out perfect. I would spray some fantastic on heavy soiled areas before putting it in the washer. You can put it in the dryer as well.

What do you mean by agitator. Like the one my mom had once that would turn in the middle of her washing machine?

Yes that is correct. Front load washers have none and newer top load as well.

I use Karcher pressure washer to clean the car. I choose Karcher as they are the providers of the best petrol pressure washer as well as electric. With such washers, you will not damage the cover if your car especially if you own a new car.

We have a standard, larger capacity washer (but not over-size or industrial) and I've washed cotton flannel car covers in it several times. I have also dried them in our drier but problem is they shrink up. Best to spin dry them a couple times in the wash machine and then find a way to either hang it up outside to finish drying or in my case I laid it out on the clean bed cover top for my Lightning PU until it was dry.
