Anyone using the Airaid GT350 non-oiled air filter? This was my first ever wash and when I put it under the tap, a slight bluish tint started coming out together with the dirt. No detergents, nothing, just plain water, and it started producing some blue paint. Is this normal for these filters?

I'd estimate that's pretty normal. Any dyed fabric will bleed the first wash.
Yes, I'd expect some of it to get washed away, but that seemed an awful lot. To the extent it kind of lost the bluish tint.

P.s. the blue part is facing the bottom of the cold intake box, the washed out one is the opposite, when installed it faces the trunck lid.

I washed mine with Simple Green exactly how they do it in the video and they don't have a speck of blue on them any more after two-three washes. (I have two of them that I swap out when I change the oil).

That's a relief to know! Thanks! I thought it is either fake, or I messed something...

The oil they use is dyed blue. That’s why the re-oil kits can be purchased with red or blue dyed oil.
