Hey everyone
I’m having a weird issue with my 2016 Mustang GT. After a hard pull, several warning lights come on, sometimes all at once:
Service AdvanceTrac
Hill Start Assist Not Available
Airbag light
Drive Mode Not Available

These lights only appear during hard acceleration. If I drive normally or rev the engine in place, the lights don’t come on. After about a minute, all the lights turn off on their own.

This all started happening after I installed long tube headers. I’ve scanned it and these codes are coming up:
  • C0051 – Steering Angle Sensor Signal Incorrect After Event
  • U0452 – Invalid Data from Restraint Control Module
I’m trying to figure out if this is just a SAS recalibration issue, a wiring problem, or something else with the steering or sensor.
Has anyone seen this behavior before? Any advice on diagnosing or fixing it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
