It really is absurd that we don't have an oil temp option in MyGauges. That GT350 gauge pod is tempting but I've gotten used to going off the head temp. Once the heads reach 200f I wait another 10 minutes and assume by then the oil is at operating temperature.

i let ‘er idle for several minutes every time it up from cold. it will idle for maybe 4-5 minutes in the morning while i go back in the house to get my coffee, and willl sit idling for several minutes when getting ready to head home from work. yes, the cylinder head temp gauge comes up quickest, if you want to see a specific temperature before you rev up from idle, but i like having the std engine temp gauge up there when i head in to traffic.
