just waiting on them turning up but dang if there isn't an epidemic going on at the mo. Damned scary stuff. Also lost my front number plate today, my fault for not fixing it when I knew it was flapping. Sigh, lost a front and a rear plate on my old mr2 previously so you'd think I'd learn to fix these things when they start flapping.

Just buy Gorilla lug nuts from CJPP, AM or something. The stock lugs suck. They'll warp on you. It's a good investment to get the Gorilla lugs. They're very strong, won't warp and look better. Win win.

Whilst we are talking about nuts ...

Please could someone measure me the diameter of the stock nuts (on the largest part over the bulge) ?

Thanks and best regards,

@Benno2000 - nuts arrived yesterday so again many thanks for that. My front number was found in the works car park, the shame of having an all staff email whose is this? with the reggy number plastered over it. Now to clean the plate, stick it back on and swap over the nuts :)

@Bluemustang - will have a look see, cheers

Thank you :like:

Is that the locker or the standard nut ?

If that’s the standard nut, I didn’t realise the bulge was that big ... !

Cheers,

standard nut as supplied by @Benno2000 - my caliper gauge was giving odd results - operator error

Thanks for the offer - I don’t think I need one but I will bear it in mind if I do :like:

I’m trying to find a suitable, sensibly priced UK alternative :like:
