I think yellow is one of the only colors that can pull of stripes really well. I like them. I'd like them more if they didn't have the GT part, but either way, looks good to me.

I have never been a fan of the rocker stripes. Reminds me of a v6 or that old guy that thinks Autozone body decals make it look cool. In the end its your car, you do you.

This sums up my opinion.

They strike me as the type of mod where you do it because it's cheap and want something to do. I think they can look good on some cars and on some colors, but I'm not a fan personally.

The side of the car needs something, but a rocker stripe ain't it.

Less is more imo. But yellow gives you a free pass. If I had those rocker stripes on a yellow GT, I would want it to say "Ticket Machine".

I would vinyl wrap the mirrors black, and get black emblems. Then you'll be looking fierce for sure.

Even though I, and plenty of other people didn't like it, build the car how you want.

I suppose you were on the fence anyway. I think they'd look alright if you didn't do the main center stripe, but because you did, it's just too much. In the end I think you made the right choice.

Black 5.0 badge is all you need. And maybe wheels if you can swing it, but the PP wheels look good and don't need changing.
