Hey guys. Not a big modder but would like to do something to change things up with my 2016 GT PP. I was thinking about getting it wrapped to the same tan color that those Toyota Tacomas had last year. I feel it would look good with the black PP wheels. I know that this is something a guy in his early 20's would think is cool on his FRS but eh I like it.

Has anyone had any positive/negative situations with wrapping their cars?

I’ve actually always thought that color was interesting and have been curious to see what it would look like on a mustang. Some black on the hood and roof might be a good consideration as well to contrast the tan.

I can’t speak for having a vinyl wrap myself. But I have looked into it extensively and might take classes on it one day

Pros are that it’s not permanent and you can take it off when you get tired of it. It also acts as a layer of protection on your original paint.

Negatives are that it is pricey. It’s not something you want to cheap out on. You want to go to a shop that does high quality work which will cost a few thousand. 2k-4K depending on your area.

There’s a lot of prep work that goes into applying the vinyl and cleaning the paint. You don’t want dirt to be under the paint because overtime this can possibly mess some paint up.

The process also requires using a razor very close to your paint. If the installer is sloppy they might scratch it with the razor.

If done correctly though i feel that the only real draw back is the price.

If you do go through with this make sure to post. I would love to see it!

Your picture didn't post but if you are talking about the Quicksand color, I love it. Would have ordered my 2016 with it if available. Had a '73 Dodge, '74 Chevy, '77 Oldsmobile that color and would have ordered most cars after that with it but never available.

Damn that looks good!
I'm speechless. In fact, typing is even a struggle right now. That video is straight fire.

What is the spoiler and what is the head light kit?

Cheers!

Damn. That does look great. Not a fan of bagged cars but that color combo is what I'm looking for. RIP wallet...
