I have this exact setup but with the v3 instead of Paxton. I wonder how much less power the v3 makes![]()

They are the same blowerI have this exact setup but with the v3 instead of Paxton. I wonder how much less power the v3 makes
I’ve heard v3 has a slightly smaller head unit, which is why the Paxton ships with a 3.8 pulley and the v3 a 3.6They are the same blower
Those are great numbers for that setup and on castrated Cali gas too!Anyone else get close to this result with the basic Vortech kit with a JLT air cleaner, larger injectors and tune? This was achieved on crappy 91 octane gas here in California.
Would love to know if anyone is getting significantly more power with similar modifications and how you did it.![]()
The Paxton is often the larger of the Head units but technically speaking either one comes in various sizes/flow rates. The Paxton 2200 (the one most people are using and/or mentioning) and a JT trim Vortech are equivalent.I’ve heard v3 has a slightly smaller head unit, which is why the Paxton ships with a 3.8 pulley and the v3 a 3.6
Vortech owns Paxton so they are the same over all design. So it would depend on what size unit you purchased. With the right pulley you should be able to make the same power.I’ve heard v3 has a slightly smaller head unit, which is why the Paxton ships with a 3.8 pulley and the v3 a 3.6
