Vortech issues please help

Down shifted reaved match slowing down about to turn into the grocery store. Out of no where I hear this loud noise..I thought it was coming from the transmission. Opened the hood and saw the pulley pushed up against the blower? It's alot of pulley that come in this kit.. what is this pulley called so I can order a new one? Also how does this happen? I'm glad I wasn't in boost or speeding when this happened

That's an idler pulley, passenger side. The bearing is toast, you can see what's left of the inner race. Contact Vortech for a new one.

The idler bearing is sealed on each side, one of seals may have allowed the grease in the bearing to leech out, or let grime in, or both.

Just goes under the "stuff happens" category. If you have more than one idler, I would replace both at the same time for good measure.

You can get the bearings at Napa or any bearing supplier for about $3 and just change all the bearings

That looks like a single bearing plastic pulley but I could be wrong. Call them and tell them what you have
