I did a custom air to water setup on my centri. But no room for heat exchanger so it's simply an ice water deal. I don't drive a whole lot on the street, the amount I do has been fine with no exchanger. But once the water gets hot, you must dump it and put a bag of ice in. I've only had to do that once.

Terry im Currently setting mine up to monitor pre and post intercooler psi through vcm scanner on my 2020 gt premium with vortech v7 jtb, 3inch pulley. im only getting 1.74 airload from 6400 to 7500 rpm so im thinking the stock vortech intercooler is a restriction. id be keen to test it for you however I'm in Australia.

I don't think the intercooler is causing that restriction. Possibly belt slip or a tuning issue.

its tuned by lund and its got all griptech pulley ars tensioner 8 rib and there is minimal rubber from the belt near the pulley?

I've seen that vortech intercooler support 1100 rwhp with a jtb on 21 pounds of boost. It went much higher then 1.74 air load.

Now going down the track it needs meth because the intake temps get too high.
