It is DEFINITELY not rated that low. I have a R250X1 and these amps are 2-4 ohm max.

Yea I figured as much, decided to toss the thing for the sake of preserving my amp. Just bought a P3D4-10 gonna wire it to 2 ohm and see where that takes me. Thanks everyone for the help

I am about to upgrade to the R500, I have the P3 4ohm shallow and it hits like a truck.

So I had the same issue with voltage dropping down to ~9VDC at the amp when powered on. For me, the issue was at the positive battery terminal on my 2017 GT. I had used the bolt on the factory battery terminal to attach my amp cable terminal. That bolt and the clamping hardware under it is black in color. The black color is a non-conductive coating, perhaps to minimize corrosion. The nut has a similar coating as well. I removed the black coating with a file and wire brush where it contacts the battery terminal and all contacting surfaces leading to the amplifier power terminal at the battery. This resolved the voltage drop issue for me.
