Anybody running the 8-rib upgrade for your Vortech / Paxton? I'm about to buy the kit but after researching further I discovered that Vortech is modifying / re-machining the stock OEM 6-rib damper. I assumed for $700+ they were including an ATI or Romac damper but that's not the case. $700+ becomes $1,300+ if I buy my own ATI 8-rib damper :frusty:

whats everyone else doing? Is the Vortech modified OEM safe to run?? Is it SFI approved?

I think the ATI damper is by far the best available. I will leave it at that.

From the looks of it you're right about that, but these were on 2 different days about 3 months apart. Not sure how big of a factor that plays but it doesn't feel like I lost anything down low and it screams up top so I'm pretty happy with it. We didn't log boost on the most recent pulls, so I'm not sure.

Yeah you definitely have a monster for sure. I wasn't knocking the 350 at all I was just surprised to see that. From what I've been reading the 350 wasn't losing a whole lot or anything depending on tuner over the stock. It just look more like a Boss intake. But either way I hope my car is close to what your making on e85

Im sure it dropped your boost a bit since its a less restrictive intake manifold.
