Just when I wanna give up on the GT350 mani, I see stuff like this

I'd like to see results of this! Stock TB vs GT350 TB. Lund told me there's no power gain from stock to gt350....get the gt350 throttle body installed in a couple weeks and see what it adds, been told by several 8-10rwhp
They are $970 with TB on eBay. Always on there for that price.Woo hoo. Thanks brotha! Hopefully I can get in a few months
With a good tune to get the surge out this intake is possibly the best for a dd/fun car.I keep going back and forth on this. I just don't know if it's worth it for me. My car is a DD so I figure I'd be better off with just a tune. I don't drag often, but love the idea of the IM. OPG and TG necessary with this?
It's what I've been thinking, but I read that the GT350 CAI is placed right under the heat extractors. I fear hydrolocking the motor from being caught in a down pour. My car sees all weather. With a good tune to get the surge out this intake is possibly the best for a dd/fun car.
You run the risk of opg failing so while in there you might as well do the tg. The damper upgrade should really be done too. If you arent going to really use the increased rpm potential its a waste of money. It needs 7800-8000. Going to 7500 is a waste. You can already go to 7200 on the stocker.I keep going back and forth on this. I just don't know if it's worth it for me. My car is a DD so I figure I'd be better off with just a tune. Yeah and with mostly street driving, that high of RPM isn't going to be obtained much. Didn't really want to do the OPG/TG upgrades either. My wife thanks you for keeping my wallet lighter lol. Get a flex fuel tune. That will be your best mod if you have access to e85.Yeah and with mostly street driving, that high of RPM isn't going to be obtained much. I'm not sure about the gt350 cold air intake but my jlt just needed a 4inch to 4in coupler and it fits perfect. It's what I've been thinking, but I read that the GT350 CAI is placed right under the heat extractors. Would be better if I could keep my Roush CAI as I would hate to have to buy another CAI. Damn decisions.
Yeah regular JLT intake works fine just need a 4in to 4in. A gt350 intake isnt neededI'm not sure about the gt350 cold air intake but my jlt just needed a 4inch to 4in coupler and it fits perfect.
Imho, it's completely worth it! Decent $ to hp ratio and you can always add a turbo or centrifugal to it.
