Because it’s not a true compressor like the Whipple.
TVS stuff tends to hit harder off the bottom but often falls flat where the Whipple just keeps on going. Mine is still pulling harder and harder as I approach the 7500 limiter. Wishing it was an 8k limiter tbh.
Pictured below is an Edelbrock 2650 compared to a tuned NA car.
Assuming the NA was reaching 7200, you can assume that the 2650 peaked at ~6500 before tapering off at basically the same rate it was getting there in the first place.

Isn't the issue with the Edelbrock blower is that the intake on it is restrictive? kind of like the old Saleen blowers.. the air entry pre rotors was horrible to volume of air movement..

I can only vouch for the whipple. I have nothing bad to say about it Stage 2, whipple tune, upgraded HE. Car pulls like a freight train, no issues, no worries. Just fricken fun.

Quite possibly, not sure. Also not sure what tune this vehicle was running.
I just saw the sheet posted elsewhere and found it interesting that it fell over so quickly,

what’s your thoughts on these two setups. 93 fuel for now with a change to e85. What setup would you guys recommend that have experience with these setups. Car is a 2017 mustang mt82
Both are really nice kits however TeamLethal has always run the Whipple setups on all of our project cars. You really won't find a more complete well thought out kit then theirs.

If you go with their stage 2 kit it's complete with everything you need including injectors, plugs, tuning device and their tuning software with flight control. All of their tuning is done by one of Fords top calibrators so the car is going to drive just like it did from the factory but with a lot more power.

We've also got several other upgrade options for those wanting to run different fuel types and have custom tuning.

Here's our 2015 GT with the stock engine, stock MT-82 and just a set of viking shocks for suspension. Give us a call if you have any questions and we'll be glad to assist you.
