Vin Numbers

This may have been raised before but just in case, I believe these are the sequence of VIN Numbers being built. (Mine was built 1 Sept with 1FA6P8CF0H523----)

1FA6P8CF0H520---- = June 2016
1FA6P8CF0H521---- = July 2016
1FA6P8CF0H522---- = August 2016
1FA6P8CF0H523---- = September 2016
1FA6P8CF0H524---- = October 2016

Obviously some may overlap but this is in general terms.

My VIN ends with '3' and Deysha has informed me that mine was tentatively scheduled to be built on 29th of September but that may change.

Mine was built June 22nd and it has a "0" so that fits.

Hi Ray,

You should have received your VIN by now. Ask your dealer for it so you can use this to track your car from factory all the way across the globe.

I think so. But Deysha clearly mentioned that this is a tentative date and it may change. Even if it gets postponed by another month, still I will be the person who gets the mustang very early (I am over excited :headbonk

Thanks for the reply Ange, I am at a bit of a loss as to what is actually going on with my order, my dealer has told me I wont get a vin no till after the build , I have not had any contact from Ford Australia, I would of thought if my car was to be built very soon I would have had more info forwarded to myself.
