Just received my Vic Mustang Plates in the mail. Look fantastic in the flesh, can't wait to put them on the car. Just informed by Deysha that car is scheduled to be built on 14/12/15 and arrive at Baltimore Docks on 1/1/16. Fits in with Ford Au's estimate of late February delivery.

I've got a Craigs Bracket. It's very well made and designed. The mount is attached with 3M tape but I'm sure it could be permanently screwed to the underside of the bumper without being visible 'plate-off'.
I've heard a whisper that Ford are inspecting all the cars after clearance for QA. So the wait could be well into next week. But then I saw the RED GT delivered to a Melbourne woman on a news item, and then the same car photographed by a friend of mine on the Western Hwy.

Pretty sure that was a press car.

As for the part of that news item to which you refer - cringeworthy is probably the best descriptor I can think of.

Hey Guys,

Thought I'd better say G'day! We're up in Bendigo.

We've ordered a Deep Impact Blue GT Fastback, Auto with the Nickle Luster Wheels. Got our email from Ford AU last week that our car is now built, so off to the upfitters soon I imagine. Deysha had confirmed with us last week that the car had started build.

Our Dealers screen is still saying Re-segmented and the ETA keeps getting pushed out by 7 days everytime (now saying 27th Feb) my dealer gets an update. I'm starting to not beleave what the dealers screen is saying!

Have our COYQTE USA style plates already, will upgrade to the Mustang plates later.
We also looked at the Sto N Sho number plate holder but after seeing Craig's, we'll be going one of those, just for the 'nicer' placement. We'll definitely be putting the extra 2 screws in in addition of the 3M tape!

Cheers,

Matt & Jodie

Hi Matt. Your car will be here before you know it and you'll be happy with the Craig's plate holder. I'm in the central highlands so I'm sure we'll run into each other. Figuratively.
John.

Anyone got any good recommendations for car tinting in the south east? Never tinted any of my cars so would prefer to take it to a reputable shop.

I would just call around and see what is on offer, shops will most likely give you different quotes. I think $300-350 is reasonable for a car this size.

My last tinting shop ended up getting a few bullet holes in it and then they shut down so I don't have a shop now either.
