I'm not sure if there is anyone on here who is receiving their car prior to the Tarago

There is a photo of one of the Ford press Cars (a Triple Yellow fastback) over on the Ford Forums site which has the new Vic Mustang Plates. It shows it from the rear and the plate actually fits quite well and looks really good. I'm glad I ordered these plates now as I was worried about their size and fit.

How is it that someone at licencing thought of this just for this car!!!

Plus, the USA custom brackets for the front would then fit!

I have already bought the sto n sho for the front of the car to keep it nie and clean. I currently have USA style plates but I think I like this Mustang Style more.

So glad that we don't have that big black bracket on the back

Ford Australia asked VicRoads to make these plates available especially for the introduction of the Mustang into Australia. Maybe you can ask your Ford dealer to lobby your local Roads authority to do the same.

Hopefully someone can post a photo of an Australian car with the US size / style plates mounted at the front.

The "sto n show" looks like a good option, but there are different versions (based on the different mounting points of the Ecoboost, GT and Performance Pack GT).

I assume we get the Performance Pack splitter here... so we need to order the Performance Pack version of the "sto n show" for the Australian GT.

So fellas we are at PARSIFAL Melbourne Discharge day +1. Any news on whether the Mustangs have moved from the port to dealers as yet or likely delivery dates to customers ? In WA we are looking at an estimate of between 4 and 9 days from the date of Port discharge in Fremantle to getting keys.

You guys must be connected to get that info for Melbourne some how

We have the performance pack splitter so yeh we needed to buy the sto n sho to suit that. There are a lot of pictures on internet if you google sto n sho mustang.

I will be running it on my car because it's a shame to cover up that beautiful front bumper with that ugly black plastic thing.

I agree with the placement is better on Craigs bracket, but his is attached with 3M tape which I didn't like. It's great we have all these options though!

Interesting they suggest removing the bracket before putting through a car wash!
