From a conversation I had with a couple of dealers (No promises though), the fact it is already rolling out in the US and that what you order now will be arriving in 2017...

You will soon come to realise that local dealers are next to useless when it comes to providing accurate information in relation to these cars.

This has been proven time and time again.

I do plan to have a waver in my contract to allow me to cancel the order in case the "likely" gets an "Un" ahead of it

Jealous that people are slowly getting their cars and I am still waiting for a build date and VIN.

Yeah, it's both more exciting and more frustrating at the same time. Still, I don't really mind waiting a bit longer.

The performance of the EB is quite different according to the ambient temperature. Yesterday I was driving around in temperatures approaching 40. Today it's under 20 and the car has noticeably more punch. Apparently this is a normal turbo characteristic.

Most definitely.

You will be doing deliberate night time runs in the winter - less traffic and dat sweet cold air!

It also slightly affects NA cars if you're in tune with your vehicle. Pun intended :cheers:

Maybe Ford's plan is to get all the deposits and live off the interest?
It's at least $160k so far ;)

4000 orders, $1k deposit, 4% interest per year, minimum 12 month wait.
Some put down higher deposit, and got a longer wait... yeah, so in the scheme of things, it's F all money for Ford.
