I have a 2015 ecoboost PP and I always thought my clutch seemed stiff for a new car, I drove my brothers 2016 PP GT and his clutch has to be twice as easy to push in than mine. Are the two cars that different ? Mine puts the bottom of my foot to sleep if I hold it in for a while and his was no problem at all.
Has anyone else driven the 2 cars and noticed a difference ? Wondering if I should ask the dealer about it or try another ecoboost with a manual trans and see how it is.

Most likely he was taken the clutch spring out or added the steeda 35lb assist spring. I did the same to mine and feels 100 times better. ask him if he replaced it

No he bought it brand new and has not done anything to it. Plus I heard that when you add the clutch spring it actually makes the clutch harder to push in as the stiffer stock spring aids in pushing the clutch and easier and that's why you have a numb feeling

Clutch on mine is super easy with stock clutch spring. It may be worth a visit to the dealership for a warranty work

Went by the dealer and checked a couple of ecoboosts and the clutch was way easier than mine so its going in for them to check it

I have a GT. The normal spring sucked ass. It would kill my knee if I drove for a few hours in traffic, and was just a bitch to push in all the time. I got the steeda spring and this thing is a godsend.

I thought the GT clutch was way too light. I pulled the spring out and it's a lot better. I really liked the clutch in my 13 it was super stiff. I like a firm pedal.

They ordered a new clutch and pressure plate as they agree there is a problem so hopefully this fixes it

Me too as they looked at me like I was nuts when I told them what the issue was. I finally got them to put another manual shift car next to mine and feel the difference and then they dug deeper with Ford.

If Op still around...

Did they say what the problem was? My car has a similar issue and the clutch won't be covered under the power train warranty since it's a wear item.
