I drive mine in a Canyon right by my house too. I did it last night. You are exactly right, just knock it down a gear, and its a very fun car in the twists. Just be careful not to light the tires coming into boost too hard..I live close to a stupid long canyon road that I used to have some fun on with my stock turbo so I decided to take it out and see how the stage 2 compared. It's still a lot of fun on canyons! I just knock it down a gear basically and it's still a little slower coming out of the hole but overall not sacrificing a whole lot of what used to be one of this car's most entertaining attributes. I'm happy to find out its not just a highway car, because In Cali, highway traffic is stupid slow anyway.
Haha thank god for brand new tires.I drive mine in a Canyon right by my house too. I did it last night. You are exactly right, just knock it down a gear, and its a very fun car in the twists. Just be careful not to light the tires coming into boost too hard..![]()
Is that good? Like is it what u expected? And was that time in your sig, with the stock turbo?Ran a 12.13 and a 12.16 at 112 and almost 113 mph with a 93 octane , 21 psi boost tune the other day.
Its not bad at only 21 psi, the 12.13 on 93 octane at 113 mph. My car is very heavy, has every option there is, 3785 lbs with driver. Guess my point is any tuner should be able to make a tune for 93 octane with this turbo and the car will run low 12s maybe even high 11s with a good 60 ft.Is that good? Like is it what u expected? How high are u going to go on the psi?Its not bad at only 21 psi, the 12.13 on 93 octane at 113 mph. My car is very heavy, has every option there is, 3785 lbs with driver. My 11.68 at 116 was with the stock turbo, race fuel, and in pretty good air, with the wick turned up all the way. Apples to Oranges
Where do you we pick up 93 octane out here?Ran a 12.13 and a 12.16 at 112 and almost 113 mph with a 93 octane , 21 psi boost tune the other day.
LOL, Sorry buddy you gotta mix it, it sucks. I mix 1.5 gallons Sunoco GT260 which is 104 octane with 8.5 gallons Shell or 76 91 octane. Everyone with an Ecoboost in CA probably should be at least mixing there fuel here in CA, 91 truly is useless !!!Where do you we pick up 93 octane out here?
What was your 60'? Impressive times for 93 for sure! Its not bad at only 21 psi, the 12.13 on 93 octane at 113 mph. My car is very heavy, has every option there is, 3785 lbs with driver. When I get the AUX fuel going, and the new engine in, as high as the Turbo will go !!!How high are u going to go on the psi?
