I hear you, but there is hope. Cobb has implemented ignition retard launch control (boost off the line is what they call it) as well as what they call rolling boost. Which is basically a way to make boost while rolling without having to hold the brake. They have it on Porsche, and the Nissan GTR so here's hoping it will trickle down.
That's some interesting info. I hope that does make it's way down to other platforms.

If Tony dosent have time im around this weekend, I live just outside of Auburn CA. I have the Vargas stage 2 on my car. You could also go to Sacramento Raceway on Weds and we can race there if you like, id prefer that as im not much of a street racer these days.
Perhaps one day if I am out there, because that's a 1-2hour drive for me, where Hayward is just across a bridge. But I'll message Tony to see if he is actually willing. Hope I'm not coming off as cocky, but I'm sure a lot of people would like to see one perform hand and hand rather than looking at grpahs

I dont think your being cocky at all, most guys dont really know what a fast car is till they get on the racetrack and see they only have a high 12 , low 13 second car. If I put my stock turbo on, or if I have the Stage 2 on my car you will probably be a little disappointed on the outcome. Im here though if you need a comparison, would be glad to help.

This is something easily implemented even if COBB does not add it right away. Its some basic wiring, and a switch wired in any variety of ways you prefer. Modifications to quite a few existing tables are required to keep things happy, but it works quite well. This is what we did on the BMW's before it was available directly in the flash which it is now.

Just wanted to post a small update for owners, or potential owners. I had never tried to brake boost the shop car, as I have never had it at the track, or street raced it. Brake boosting builds a ton of heat, and there is no reason to do it, if you are not going to launch the car. I wanted to test it after hearing Perfweld say he could only build a few psi on the stock converter. In my car on stock converter, I was able to build 12 psi in just a couple seconds, and it was climbing when I lifted, I think 15 psi would have been on tap very easily. My guess is the difference here is our tunes. He is on a Lund Tune, and we are tuned by Adam. This is great news for the VTT S2 owners, looks like stock converter launches will be no problem, I will post a log when I get one!

This is good news Tony, I could only get 5 - 8 psi, means we gotta keep working on the tune. Thanks !!!

Being the most vocal one, I also have some info to contribute. My car is making more low RPM boost then it did when I first installed it. Same tune, so only thing I can say is my VS2 must have been tight and needed some miles to free up.

Another small update but might be meaningful to some. We ordered the OBDII dynojet adapter to take some runs soon. This should smooth the graph out for us

I am able to get 20psi off the stock converter with a 5558 which is much bigger than the VS2. I don't think getting the same results with your turbo would be too much of an issue for guys actually looking to go FAST.

I sent you a message earlier on facebook, we can test some things if you like.

I agree boost was rising quickly, and I let off as I was not intending to launch the car, and no use in heating things up. I do not think upwards of 15 psi at the line should be an issue. I am willing to bet our shop car will knock down low 11's on stock everything suspension wise except some tires, and wheels. I saw your message, super busy on the dyno today preparing to take the BMW race car to the strip tomorrow. I will get back to you
