Yes, you have one , there used on gear driven auto and some CVT's .

I allows engine to slip an bit and raise torque.

What many here were talking about, is higher stall convertor.
That is when the convertor is modified so the stall point gets raised and putting you into higher HP/TQ point off the line.

So if stock is 2k rpm at power brake, you might see 2500, 3000, 3500 rpm units.I don't know whats available for eco-boost.

Kind of interesting, I can launch this turbo better then the stock turbo. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to launch the stock one. This turbo I can slip the clutch and get the car to launch. *disclaimer I added a bunch of stuff at the same time that could affect this.

That's why I mentioned the wot box. It will get you more vs cobb's fuel cut implementation. If you are serious about racing it might be something to consider.

How do you like the shaft and flywheel? I have the 6mt and full bolt ons, I wanted to start focusing on making the car sharper and smoother all around. I'm not a racer, all driving is strictly for my personal enjoyment, and 90% stop light to stop light. Ty for any input

I do not think bus length, the stock turbo may get out of the hole quicker, but I will run him down well before the 1/4 mile, prob before 1/8 mile. I challenge anyone in the bay area to come test this against our shop car, you bring stock bolted EBM, we will run against our Stage 2 Bolted. In for results....

If your serious , I will drive out tonight or this weekend for the sake of science FBO E30M. vs VTT2. If I loose by a lot, I'll probably pick one up within the coming months. I'm real curios on how it performs against a stock turbo . Message me please. If this is something you are seriously okay to do. I'm also down to roll race, just to have that "street data" for people to see. Thanks

Me to for sure! Some people on here thought I was hating on the kit, but I was trying to be sold on it. I think it was taken the wrong way, I'm sure their shop car is badass. I wonder if Adam tuned that one or not? 15 min is nothing and I'm sure the guy was being genuine when he offered, so do it and take lots and lots of videos . Good luck!

I guess everyone is ignoring the person suggesting the WOTbox. The WOTbox is an external device that allows NLS, and 2-step for launching, and it does so with ignition cut, NOT fuel cut. We use it on our BMW MT car, and it shaved at least 4/10th's off our 1/4 mile ET. While nothing will hold full boost on a shift in an MT, it holds boost very well, and this is a car making 700+WHP on big JB turbos.

If Tony dosent have time im around this weekend, I live just outside of Auburn CA. I have the Vargas stage 2 on my car. You could also go to Sacramento Raceway on Weds and we can race there if you like, id prefer that as im not much of a street racer these days.

I hear you, but there is hope. Cobb has implemented ignition retard launch control (boost off the line is what they call it) as well as what they call rolling boost. Which is basically a way to make boost while rolling without having to hold the brake. They have it on Porsche, and the Nissan GTR so here's hoping it will trickle down.
