Vacuum Booster Testing

I stopped by the auto parts store & picked up a vacuum tester for my power booster. If the car sits for a few days the booster looses vacuum & I can't press the brake pedal down enough to engage the sensor so that the pushbutton start works. The display in the dash claims: "Press Brake Pedal To Start". But since there's no vacuum I can't move the brake pedal.

Anyway ... The clerk at the store said that because of the turbo the engine must have a vacuum pump to operate the booster. I looked over the vacuum lines from the booster a little and don't see any signs of a pump. In the old days there was something called a vacuum reserve tank to hold the vacuum. I assume the Ecoboost has a reserve tank somewhere...

Does anyone know for sure?

It looks like it does have a pump... Not sure about location...?

Thx. Looks like it DOES have a pump. I assumed it would run off the serpentine belt but I don't see anything like a vacuum pump hanging off the belts anywhere. I'll have to do some more research. Bummer.
