buy a used GT-R, those should be around $60k ish, maybe.

out of all 3 cars you have metioned, the mustang looks the best(15-17, still unsure of the 18's). as far as the performance aspect, the mustang is cheap enough that you can use the $$ you save from buying a mustang over a camaro/challenger to make it faster than either.

if all 3 performed the same and were the same price, i'd choose the mustang due to its looks. everyone will have the opinion as you go to other car forums, in the end its up to what you like.

It's not just about speed (although I'd like an 11-12 second car). The GT-R is a great car but just not raw enough. Also. 99.9% of this exercise is about owning a V8 before they get rare. It's going to happen, with trump in office I don't think it's the next generation anymore but it sure as hell will be the one after. I want an opportunity to own a true V8 American muscle car before they change. Half the reason I'm leaning towards the Hellcat is because it has more of that muscle feel than the other 3.

But yeah it's all subjective. GT/Challenger are by far the best looking - I like both equally for different reasons. Definitely browsing all the forums at the moment and doing what research I can. Avoiding test drives at least until October 1. I tend to move to quick with these things once I find what I like.

There is a dealer in Iowa that has a new 300A M6 car on the lot with a Stage II Roushcharger on it for $39k

If you can pony up some cash, no pun intended, then I vote a hellcat. Not as agile as the other two but mighty fun for the money. But believe me this thing can turn, just not like a 1le. Kind of like how the 1le can't turn like a viper acr. Still good but always something better.

Hellcat is definitely on the list as it's sub $60k easy these days. My only concern is how long some of them been sitting on the lot (i.e. the 2016 new cars). I'm hopeful that October-December the 2017 drop with the 2018/demon release and also the ZL1 see's discount also.

I'll essentially be comparing those two cars to the GT modded.

But as far as handling I know the hellcat has what I would need. There is also the wife factor as I think the adjustable suspension for a more cushy ride will make it a more useable car for me when going out with her. She hated out fast my S4 was so I'll have to keep that part quiet until I buy it - which is funny considering she loves my motorcycle.
