Hi guys,

Is there any difference between x pipes for V8 and V6?

I have a V6 and I'm thinking about getting an x pipe for the V8 since they're more available, so would it fit?

Thanx.

You will need 2.25 to 2.5 adapters from advance for the axle back then but itll fit fine.

so if I understand correctly, the front of the gt x pipe has 2.25" connections that would mate to the stock cat pipes? you just need adapters to fit to the aft section of exhaust then?

Yes it fits fine near the cats its the side of the axleback will need clamps in my case it was easier and just as cheap to weld into place in the rear again selling mine if interested.

What about the headers though? Are they a different length between the GT and the v6?

Only thing different on the exhausts and I looked into it when I bought the x pipe, everything after the headers is the same aside from the diameter of the pipe after the resonator.

Ohhhh Okayy. So it should fit correctly besides getting the adapter. Awesome. That just opened up a world of opportunity for me:headbang::headbang::headbang:
