I was able to get a 2015 V6 for 13000 and in about 5 years I would like to engine and trans and everything else like dif because the body is nearly perfect and it runs great. Was just in the family and I would love to have a project car. Is this realistic? I have the time and money but is it still a reasonable goal?

I had a friend of mine who almost bought a used V-6 to V-8 conversion about 20 years ago and I remember when he was looking into insurance no one would cover it because of the swap. I’m sure there is paperwork that will need to be filed for that. The other thing, was the car didn’t look right, it didn’t sit right and didn’t seem the handle right. We drove it a few times and something was off. It could be quite a bit of work for it. I’ve never attempted anything like that, and maybe i don’t have the patience for it either. Personally I would just get a GT
