OK, so today is the birthday of three of my four grandchildren. My twins, boy & girl, born on 9/2/08 (yes they are teenagers ). My other grandson exactly a year later on 9/2/09.

Yesterday the younger one gets sent home from school because the stomach ache he had was a symptom of Covid and he need to be tested. Turns out all he needed to do was take a dump, which he did in school, and told the teacher he was fine. They sent him home anyway.

Today the older grandson was sent home from school because he was in close proximity to another child who had tested positive. Both are getting tested today.

So I guess it can get pretty bad without any help from us.

yeah, we're good. we got spared pretty well. lots of others around here got it alot worse. biggest issue is getting gas to keep the gen running, and having to take cold showers.

Nope. Choose not to live where natural disasters like that roll through yearly or more.
