KIRK: What is it, Scotty?
SCOTT: Transporter breakdown. Continue circuit testing. We beamed up this animal and, well, look for yourself. It's in this specimen case. (opens lid to reveal angry animal)
KIRK: Yes?
SCOTT: A few seconds after they sent this one up through the transporter, that duplicate appeared. Except it's not a duplicate, it's an opposite. Two of the same animal, but different. One gentle, this. One mean and fierce, that. Some kind of savage, ferocious opposite. Captain, we don't dare send Mister Sulu and the landing party up. If this should happen to a man.
KIRK: Oh, my.

So many years ago, I became quite interested in quantum effects and particles/matter being able to transition between wave-like properties and paticle-like properties. Particle physicists have been studying these properties through double-slit experiments since the early 1800’s. As time and experimental effort has moved forward, the size of the particles has progressed to that of molecules such as the 60 carbon molecule (buckyball) right before 2000. Recently, physicists from the University of Vienna have exceeded the benchmark to a molecule of around 2000 atoms (C707H260F908N16S53Zn4). The bigger question to consider is there a possibility that simple organic life forms such as viral or bacterial matter can follow similar outcomes?

No need for quantum effects. A certain group of scientists took a 'harmless' Bat corona and deliberately engineered it to attack Homo Sapiens, so yes?

If you have two arms..or two legs..you have more than the average amount of arms or legs, even if it is the norm.

Ha, because the average human has something like 1.99 arms and 1.98 legs? Meanwhile, the median is 2 arms and 2 legs.

haha, exactly.

you think median is 2? i figure there are some people have 0, but dont know of any with 4. But i dont claim to know all of the appendages of all in the world so..who knows.

Should be easy to figure out. We're not talking about alligators here.

seems there was a boy born with 8 arms and legs..a boy with 4 arms and legs..both have them removed to be 2 and 2..so technically it counts..technically he is at 2 now though. but if we use 8, thats gonna skew our "2" number a bit. lol

edit..looks like they meant 4 of each. so that puts median at 2 if that is indeed the most ever.

About 40% percent of people who read this won’t find it weird that I wrote “percent” twice.
