I thought I read somewhere there was a USB port behind the dash for the sync system. I have my USB drive plugged into the glove box USB, but would love to get it out of the way if possible.
I know for sure our 2010 F-150 has a hidden port behind the dash, we put hard drive in glove box .
It's accessed by pressing sync and saying "USB2"
Hope the Mustangs do too
2011 (believe all 2010-14) Premium has a USB port behind the dash above the glove box. It is not a regular USB port though, you need to buy an adapter cord.
That extra USB port on the 11-14 generation is not present on the 15's. The sync module only has 2 ports which are being used by the console and the port right in front of the shifter.
