Bit more complicated than that.would be interesting to see if with the guys cracking the coding in the ecu recently if you could activate the blind spot detection in the side mirrors and get the appropriate mirrors from the states at the same time. I recently rented an ecoboost in vegas which had it and found it quite handy.
They are not that dearI had a discussion with Benny at Levittown months ago about this.
As per the Recaros, he was unable to confirm if they would physically fit.
There are also quite a few different versions to choose from as the US get different mirror options and they vary in price by about ÂŁ250/300.
Going on the fact that the wiring for the lights is not compatible it would come as no surprise to find the mirror wiring is not compatible either, even if the mirrors will physically bolt on.
