Hello!
I have a few questions about the European side mirrors.

First, what functions do these have?
I saw in another post that they are heated, body colored, power folding with integrated turn signals. Do they have Pony Projector lights too?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm moving back to Japan (again!) and getting a new Ecoboost there. It'll have those same mirrors and I'm considering getting the US mirrors as long as I can retain most of the functions.

I'm sure the folding won't work, but how about the rest?

Anybody in Europe change out their mirrors?
Is it pretty much plug and play?

Hey, I can answer a couple of these but might require an owner for others.

Yes they're body colored, yes they're power folding, yes that have integrated turn signals, and yes they have the pony projector lights.

I believe all export models from the US run the same base spec, there's a few differences the US car has that the EU/UK/AUS/Other export countries has. It has 'Blind spot integration' and a different style of wing mirror, other than that, same stuff as long as you get the premium pack trim on the US model.

As for swapping out, no idea if anybody has changed theirs out, to my knowledge of following the forum and the mods people have done, nobody has and nobody has suggested it.

I looked into it and Benny at Levittown wasn't sure if it was possible to swap them. I assume because of the differences in spec but when you consider the US rear lights have completely different connectors it becomes quite a risk to take.

Could always check if it's cheaper to import a LHD converted to RHD from streetfighter in Australia.

I'm actually going to be in Japan, not Australia.

I checked into sending my current US spec Ecoboost over, but the quotes were outrageous for localizing. (Not the steering, just emissions, tail lights, side mirrors.)
