More height means you can angle them down more whilst retaining rearward visibilty thus making reversing easier.

At least it would if they had a full range of movement.
So you get the benefit of better rear visibility when reverse parking between 2 cars although you do have to adjust the angle of each mirror, then re-adjust again for normal driving and at the cost of having door mirrors that look a bit Chad Valley?

I'm gonna remove my reverse parking sensors and park pilot camera and burn them!

Being that bit bigger means you could POSSIBLY angle them slightly more downwards than the US versions and not have to readjust.

To late, maybe you don't understand IT as soon as a message is sent to a thread i have sent a post to, you get sent a email, so I got a nice email which did make us laugh
as my mate said and he did have a very good point
"why do these people want the US Lights, Tails, DRUs and now mirrors" just buy a bloody US car, I mean it don't work out that much dearer and you get all the bits you want on the US car, some as Standard
Oh of course I don't get the 3 year Ford warranty, well that's see how many threads on here are rating Ford? or are not even letting them do a oil change?
As for the price of the mirrors, all depends who you know and where you go, in this world, its not
What you know, but who you know
Anyway if you are at Steeda next Sat, you can have a look at my mirrors :D
Seems to me I get so much grief cause I dare to buy a lefty, well without the Leftys mate, there would be NO RHD,
I understand it is a lot easier to overtake and the tight roads in the UK are not best for such a wide car, I can understand that. And if I had not 4 years of the S197 I would not have gone for a LHD. But I do, so don't shoot me for daring to do what people over here have been doing since the late 60s
if people ask questions on the UK part of a US website about the US car, then if i can advise I will do as have got thanked by others on here
at the end of the day, US or UK they are all Mustangs, I wanted something a bit rare and I am very happy with her, other than the Borla S she will stay as stock

Didn't show you my original post though, did it? Unless you came back to the thread before my (several) edits.

Well of course, I might have known YOU'D be able to source the mirrors far cheaper than anyone else. :hail:

Your mate sounds as thick as you. Your (real or imaginary?) mate's point is missing one crucial detail...

I couldn't give a f**k if the LHD car came with Jennifer Aniston, I still wouldn't buy it because it's LEFTHANDBLOODYDRIVE! I can't make it any clearer for you.

I wish I was ok driving a LHD car as I would've imported one with all the bits on it like you did, but I'm not so I didn't. I don't feel the need to keep reminding everybody of the fact with every single f**king post I make on here, or on PH either though, unlike you.

You don't get grief because you bought LHD, personally I only give you grief because it gets mentioned EVERY F**KING TIME whether it's relevant to the discussion or not and unlike myself, and I suspect, everyone else in here, we don't care what side your steering wheel is on. Except it gets brought up, by you, in every single post you make.

I'm planning to attend the Steeda thing next week so if you see me, feel free not to introduce yourself as I don't think I can stand to have my tits bored off with the constant "well, MY LHD car has all this as standard for only a little more than your poverty-spec UK car, oh, by the way, did you know I used to own an S197?" bollocks.

Oh, and as for this:

without the Leftys mate, there would be NO RHD
