No it's not possible to add nav if you didn't get it from the factory with it, unfortunately.

this probably isn't the response you're looking for, but do you have a smartphone?

I have a $3 dash holder from China and on my smartphone I use the free Waze app with bluetooth through my stereo for my GPS. Other than eating the phone battery it works wonderfully.

+10000

It would be cool to have the GPS (I opted out) but man, google maps is about 90% correct for the most part. Thats what I use and I just have it come through via bluetooth audio

have not played with ford sync touch how does it handle bluetooth? can you lisen to radio and the maps app will chime in when to turn, then go back to music?

Any way to get the phone displayed on the MFT screen? Is applink or anything else compatible?

Yes, that's exactly what it does.

Not from Ford, but you will be able to get NAV from the aftermarket.

Check Crutchfield for date of next catalog.

Yea it will dim the music and you will hear the voice guidance from Google Maps. I dont need a screen, just he voice guidance is fine with me. Saves me 750 dollars

There will be aftermarket ones for sure. But I mean like many have said, if you have a cell phone (and reception) Nav is already there. I find Nav the majority of the time is just a premium feature most do not need except like 2% of the time and even then if you planned ahead you wouldn't need it.

Waze is great. Google's ok.
Try Here Drive+ from Nokia (Owners of Navtech). Excellent GPS software, FREE and offline maps so you don't use up your data plan.

Google has offline maps as well. I have yet to find anything better then Google. Just wish they had a night mode on the iPhone

I'm not sure what you've tried but there are lots of options. Both Here Drive+ and Waze are better
